Rocco Michael Landi

When Rocco Michael Landi served during WWII, his full legal name was Rocco Michael Iannuzzelli. My father legally changed our family’s last name around 1957–1958 for business purposes. I do not have any official documentation of the name change.

However, my father did serve in WWII in Okinawa under the name Rocco Michael Iannuzzelli, and I do have a roster listing him under that name. He passed away at the age of 54 from cancer, and I have limited information about his service—primarily photographs of him in the Pacific and some documents confirming his presence there.

It would be a great honor to recognize him for his service during one of the major battles in the Pacific, the Battle of Okinawa.
